The Camp Knife this knife took a bit of development, which I have to admit I find great fun. The main inspiration can be seen to have come from the classic bushcraft style, a great all rounder, but beefed up a tad to shrug of the hard tasks sometimes required around camp or on the trail. The drop point profile (against the more spear point of a classic) excels at game and fish preparation, carving and fire work whilst retaining all the strength needed of a hard use blade for heavy splitting and other such chore which a lesser blade would not be up to.
Made in 4 mm stock, but available in 5 mm if your after a real beast like my survival knife just a tad more refined, with a blade of approx 125mm and a handle of approximately 115mm. The grind can be either the ever useful 'Scandi or zero bevel' ,leaving all the steel on the blade for strength, or the slightly more utilitarian saber grind with secondary bevel to meet personal preference. Tempered to 57/58 Rc slightly favoring toughness or edge retention.
With the addition of a tapered tang, G10 liners, stabilised wood or G10 scales and either loveless or Corby bolts or mosaic pins you can totally personalize your knife.
As with all my knives it comes with its own 4 mm custom made top grade vegetable tanned sheath. Scandinavian dropper also available as an option.
Teamed with a saw and my favorite 5mm stock Necker this covers all your basis in camp or on the trail.
Blade length 125mm handle 115mm. Please note measurements are approximate, and adjustable, as all work is carried out by hand and eye.
