All leather work is carried out by myself with each piece being custom made for the item it is to house, protect or attach to your person. As such I may need to have the actual item to be able to correctly fit in the case of a sheath or case.

I use only the best materials I can source, utilizing NZ based suppliers wherever I am able to, I work mainly in either 3mm or 4mm best grade vegetable tanned hides, depending upon need, and source the best quality fitments and finishes I can.

All stitching is completed by hand with every stitch receiving a double surgeon knot, if cut my stitching will not run. I use woven and waxed terylene  thread which is rot proof and has a breaking strain of over 50lbs.

All leather-work is hand dyed, wet-formed (as required) and finished by hand.

I keep a few of the most useful items I make on stock to offer on an ongoing basis alongside custom items as requested. if a custom sheath or axe mask is requested I may require to have the actual item to ensure the best custom fit is produced. Available stock items are shown in products ready now, please allow up to 4 weeks for custom leather work.

As with all my leather items these are fully hand made of best quality vegetable tanned hides, hand stitched and fully finished, looked after these will be an heirloom of memories.

Belt loop of best quality veg tan leather with 550 para cord loop attaching a quick release clip for the secure carry of items which are often wanted to be kept on your person for safety reasons yet need to be easily deployed for daily use.

Tinder/ possibles pouch size A
top quality dear hide, very soft and malleable yet hard wearing and long lasting.
Often termed the extra large size, perfect for larger kit sets or larger amounts of tinder kept clean and tidy in 1 place. Retro bushcrafting and traditional camping coolness.

A light weight awesome way to keep your small kits together and so retro its just cool.

Scandinavian Dangler
can be retrofitted to your sheath or tool with an approx 25mm or 1 inch loop, to fit up to  a 75mm belt.
Supplied with either solid brass or stainless steel poppers and D ring and instructions for use/ fitting.
Size adjustable if you have a special `outdoor` belt you need it to fit, just contact me with details.
Now available with aluminum screw gate carabiner.

Knife and tool strops
Vegetable tanned hide is used to make this essential sharpening item, 1 side smooth 1 side rough. The rough side is for the cutting work and the smooth to finish the edge and check all is as it should be.
Please note these strops are flexible, this is intentional as it allows the stops to be utilised for all types of blade and tool profiles whilst giving the additional benefit of reducing bulk and weight meaning you can now take a full size strop in to the field without feeling like you are carrying half a branch.
supplied with a pot of Autosol which will keep you going for quite some time and an information letter re use and care of your strop.

Axe Mask
Shown above are examples of Axe masks for a Gransfors brooks and a Husqvarna axes
made with best quality veg tanned hide and finished to a very high standard, made to serve you well and last.
masks can be made for pretty much any axe/ hatchet or tomahawk but if I have not done the particular model before I will likely require the tool to ensure a custom fit.

Axe/ hatchet throat protector
pretty self explanatory but a great addition to protect a quality tool, easy to fit and adjust, picture on right would give an indication of size. if you are unsure please contact me and I would be happy to check for fit and or make a larger/ smaller piece.

Axe belt loop
Made from top quality vegetable tanned hide for rigidity  and strength to hold and support your axe.
Fits GB small forest/ Husqvarna mid sized axes.
Any size can be made at same cost for similar design.
Secured with solid copper hose rivets for strength and long life.

Safety cover for spoon knife
Wind leather strap from thick end at tip of knife down blade to handle, tuck thin part in to last wrap.
very cost effective way to transport a sharp tool safely.

Ferrocerium rods, medium are 8 x 80 large are 100mm x 10mm and extra large 127mm x 12.5mm (5 inch by half inch). lge, xlge shown.
3 main `handles` duck tape, wood, antler all with para cord or No 36 bank line loop.
I use the softer version of the rods which I prefer over the hard ones as I want to remove lots of material to aid with any tinder not in perfectly condition.
