The Bushcraft Classic is my main bushcrafting knife, modeled after the iconic Woodlore knife but with a few tweak to improve its performance, making a slightly more comfortable and utilitarian blade.
The bushcraft knife has been in my top 3 belt knife designs for over 25 years and for very good reasons, it would not be 1 of the most popular designs for bushcrafting in Europe if it did not have something special about it.
Available in 3 or 4 mm stock with a 26 degree Scandi grind bevel, (other angles and bevels available to order) a great mid ground grind for this type of knife, tempered to 58/59rc, and available with all my usual custom options and completed with a bespoke sheath top grade vegetable tanned saddlery leather.
Blade length 110mm handle 110mm. Please note measurements are approximate, and adjustable, as all work is carried out by hand and eye.
Classic 90 bushcraft knife
Designed with a slightly smaller blade for either those who prefer this for wood working and camp crafting projects or for the smaller person as the smaller blade lends it`s self to being able to apply more power to the cuts keeping the cutting edge closer to the handle.
I have kept the rest of the design the same as the standard classic as why should some one have a `different knife` just because they are smaller or want the shorter blade.
The knife shown is my light weight version in 2mm stock, however this is available in 3 or 4 mm stock, and comes standard with a 26 degree Scandi grind bevel, (other angles and bevels available to order) a great mid ground grind for this type of knife, tempered to 58/59rc, and available with all my usual custom options and completed with a bespoke sheath of top grade vegetable tanned leather.
